About ‘Silent Friendship’ by KRAB

This work evokes a sense of well-deserved peace. The weariness of someone who feels deeply and, for a moment, needs nowhere to be. A connection without words, the sort of comfort that only an animal can offer. There is also something melancholic about it: the closed eyes, the subdued posture. She is there, yet also absent for a moment.

The colour palette – olive green, dusty blue, terracotta, warm ochre yellow – feels like an autumn afternoon indoors. Not sad, but profound. The dual layer is powerful: from a distance, a picturesque scene of a girl with an animal; up close, a portrait of someone catching their breath for a moment.

The watercolour style breathes in unison with the image: blue areas that remain loose, as if the moment might dissolve at any second. And yet the embrace is tangible and heavy with emotion. Terracotta, warm ochre, dusty blue and olive green – a palette that feels like an autumn afternoon indoors. Not sad. But profound. From a distance, a picturesque scene of a person and an animal. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
