A sun-drenched village somewhere in the hot South. The sweltering heat hangs heavy in the narrow streets and across the deserted village square. The villagers have holed up in their cool houses, shutters closed.
But it won't be long until the sun sinks and a cooling breeze picks up from the sea. Then the village comes alive again.
The houses were painted separately with gouache paint and then combined into a fictional village.
