This watercolour painting shows a breathtaking underwater world in a hidden cave. Soft sunbeams fall down through the opening of the cave, where a sea turtle glides gracefully through the clear water. Sea plants grow along the bottom and small fish swim among the light beams, subtle details that add depth and life to the painting.

The use of colour consists of deep blue and turquoise tones, which contrast beautifully with the green and yellowish accents of the plants and the turtle's shell. It gives the work a refreshingly cool feel, but the warm rays of light also bring a certain softness and calmness to it.
