The tide line on the North Sea beach is home to many extraordinary fossils and other remains of marine (molluscs). Most people step over them without paying attention. It is precisely when you study them in detail or, as here, photograph them using a macro focus stack that you can see the special architecture of these shellfish ranging from cockles, mussels, snails and razor clams.
