About "Red rose in black bottle"

About the artwork

The red rose in this work comes from my own garden. She has a powerful fragrance, the typical "rose scent" that is incorporated into soaps, perfumes and fragrant oils. When this rose blooms in my garden, I visit it every day for a "scented bath". It smells so wonderful and is so relaxing.
In this work, unfortunately, the fragrance cannot be depicted. The red rose in full bloom is here together with a rose in bud. On the blue surface, deepening in perspective, a rose petal lies against the black bottle. The first sign of "decay," though the fragrance lingers in the petals for a very long time.
The black bottle with the narrow neck is something special. I don't remember exactly where it came from, but it has something to do with the physics classroom where my partner once taught. The beautiful deep black contrasts beautifully with the green and red of the roses. The blue surface gives the just right contrast to the black bottle: not too dark, not too light.
In the background you can see the wall of my workspace. Not a uniformly smooth wall, but one with texture and various shades. This makes the image lively.
I digitally edited the original photo for a nice, deep and warm texture.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
