About ‘Quiet Morning Sunrise - Abstract seascape’ by Ellis Hollering

'Quiet Morning Sunrise' is a light and hushed abstract seascape in which soft blue tones, warm pink nuances and subtle gold accents meet. Sky and water seem to merge into each other, blurring the boundary between above and below. Small, almost hidden movements can be detected in the paint layer. Thin brushstrokes, light haze and soft reflections give the work an open and breathing quality. The longer you look, the quieter the image seems to become.

This painting is inspired by the early morning moment when the day has not yet begun. The hour when everything seems possible, but nothing is required yet. I wanted to capture the feeling of a world slowly awakening, with light gently finding its way across water.

'Quiet Morning' exudes calm, clarity and softness. The work invites slowing down and reflection and feels like a pause between two moments. The artwork brings space and calmness to an interior. It suits people who love silence, light and simplicity, and forms a serene presence in both modern and warm living environments.

The painting is composed of several transparent layers of acrylic paint. I work intuitively and am guided by light, movement and balance, with some parts deliberately kept open and fragile. Gold elements have been added to give it a unique look.

I am Ellis and I was born and raised in the south of the Netherlands. I have been creative since childhood. I find inspiration everywhere, from shapes and colors to my travels. My large portraits are therefore inspired by African culture, through travels to South Africa, Namibia and Tanzania. Coarse brush strokes and cheerful colors on the canvas is one of my characteristics.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
