About "Poppy blossom in the Waldviertel"

About the artwork

Where we are, is up! That's the motto of the Waldviertel in the north of Lower Austria. Deep forests, mystical rock formations and atmospheric (carp) ponds make up this rugged district.

Once a year it shows its gentle side. At the time of the poppy blossom. The filigree blossoms are as delicate as tissue paper. They cheerfully raise their heads to the sky.

Buds, open blossoms and already the first poppy capsules. Red and pale pink. All in one field. Next to each other. Above them only the sky, which is especially close up here.

Especially on hot days I love to get up early and drive to the Waldviertel. Then, when it's still quiet, when everything is still asleep. Enjoy the morning and the following day. Roam through the woods, let your feet dangle in the ponds. Waldviertel, pure relaxation for mind and soul.

Here in Lower Austria there is a wonderful abundance of landscapes. From vineyards to deep forests. From wild to gentle. From hilly to flat. With colourful cellars and striking farms. With historic towns and modern architecture. I was born in the middle of the Wachau, now live in the provincial capital St. Pölten - and spend every free minute travelling in "my" Lower Austria!

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
