About the artwork

The picture shows a close-up of a delicate, light pink peony. The petals appear almost translucent and frame a bright yellow centre with fine, detailed stamens. The idea for this work arose from the desire to focus on the quiet presence of a single flower - without distraction, without staging. I was interested in how light and colour unfold in the natural geometry of the peony and how this results in a visual calm.

The atmosphere I want to create with this picture is clear and reduced. It is about seeing in the true sense of the word - about the conscious perception of form, colour and structure. The message is simple: beauty lies in the inconspicuous.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
