Pelicans can stay for long consecutive years. Exuberant wing flapping drives a school of fish into shallow water. Pelicans have a large beak and a large throat pouch. When a pelican spots prey, it scoops the fish out of the water. When it lifts its head, the water leaves and the fish stay behind. After hunting for a while, this pelican sees that it has had enough for a while. He has found his resting place on this rock with a beautiful view.
