About ‘Wild donkeys on Bonaire’ by Pieter JF Smit
This photo was taken on Bonaire, near the old shrimp farm. On Bonaire, donkeys live in the wild. Decades ago, they were brought to the island by the Spanish to work as pack donkeys. They have managed to adapt well to the island's rugged nature and now live there in the wild. Look especially at the donkeys' ears in the photo
