About ‘Ötztal Forest Road’ by Marcel Hechler

Seen from the air, almost directly from above, a single mountain road winds its way like a pale ribbon through a sea of dark coniferous forest. In a tight hairpin bend, it curves around a small, triangular meadow before disappearing back into the pine trees. To the right, the forest opens up to reveal a grey rocky ridge dotted with a few scattered boulders — the only break in the otherwise unbroken green canopy.

If you look more closely, you’ll discover the quiet details: the white guide posts that follow the road like a string of pearls, and how narrow the grey ribbon appears between the densely packed treetops — barely more than a line, showing just how vast this forest really is.

From the ground, it is a narrow valley road like many others. Only from the air does it become clear what you never notice at the wheel: how small humans and their paths remain amidst this dense greenery. The drone transforms the familiar bend into a tranquil, almost graphic image — a curved line as the sole sign of movement in the stillness.

The deep, rich green and the clear form have a calming yet modern effect. Above the sofa, in the study or in the hallway, this image brings a touch of Alpine tranquillity to the wall — understated, clear and with an eye for detail.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
