Mushrooms are the face for autumn. Of course, when you want to decorate your home in autumn theme, mushrooms cannot be missing.
This beautiful mushroom the hare's paw ( Coprinopsis lagopus) begins as the name suggests as if a white hairy paw emerges from the ground. Soon the mushroom loses its hairiness. The stem grows longer and longer and the cap slowly curls over. Eventually, like the ink mushroom, the species slowly drips to the ground until nothing remains.
This hare's foot mushroom was found in the Emmerdennen. A forest in Emmen, Drenthe.
