About the artwork

Our 'Lapland8Seasons' collection:

Everyone knows the traditional four seasons: winter, spring, summer and autumn. In Lapland, however, there are eight seasons.

The idea to create a Lapland collection arose in March 2021. In central Europe - Belgium - everything is getting ready for flowering, the green leaves are on the trees, while in Lapland (high above the Arctic Circle) there are no green leaves to be seen yet. Spring there is completely different from what we know in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Will you join us on this journey? The whole collection - Lapland's 8 Seasons - is the perfect work of art to enjoy and to do so every season, eight times a year. I'd love to hear which is your favourite season.

About this season: Midnight sun in Lapland
The 4th season in Lapland - Sometime in mid-May, the sun drops below the horizon for the last time in months. From this moment on, there is only 24 hours of light. Summer is no longer coming, it's here! The sun remains constantly above the horizon, creating what are called "nightless nights". On midsummer's day, June 21, the sun is at its highest. The further north you go, the more nightless nights there are!

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
