Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

Beta feature. You need an AR-capable device (a recent iPhone/iPad or Android). The AR view is only an indication; colour, size and finish may differ in reality.

About ‘Mechanical guardian of the coast’ by Eric Nagel

This striking steampunk poster combines the raw beauty of nature with the fascinating aesthetics of steampunk design. At its centre is a meticulously detailed mechanical crab, whose body is made up of cogs, metal plates and intricate structures. Its glowing eyes radiate a mysterious energy as it strides majestically along the beach, surrounded by gentle waves and a dramatic backdrop of clouds. The motif skilfully plays on contrasts: organic forms meet industrial precision. In nature, crabs are known for their adaptability and resilience – qualities that are symbolically reinforced here by the robust metal design. At the same time, the steampunk style evokes an alternative past in which steam engines and mechanical innovations shaped the world. This combination makes the poster a real eye-catcher for lovers of technology, fantasy and extraordinary art. The warm colour palette of gold, bronze and sandy tones creates a welcoming, almost nostalgic atmosphere. In the background, architectural structures and a floating airship lend the scene additional depth and tell a story of discovery and inventiveness. This artwork really comes into its own in living rooms, studies or creative studios. It also makes a strong visual statement in modern offices or gaming rooms and inspires new ideas.
