Majesty of the deep - whale fin at sunset"

This breathtaking poster shows one of the most sublime moments in the animal world - the elegant descent of a whale in Alaska with its mighty fluke into the ocean. Droplets glisten like liquid crystals on the dark, shiny whale fin, while the calm, gently moving surface of the water shimmers in delicate shades of blue. This motif is a quiet but powerful expression of freedom, the force of nature and the majesty of the seas.

Interesting facts about whales

Whales are among the largest and most fascinating creatures on earth. The blue whale, for example, can grow to over 30 metres in length and weigh 200 tonnes - larger than any other known animal in the history of our planet. They play an essential role in the marine ecosystem, not only as apex predators, but also through their "whale pump function" - they bring nutrients from the deep back to the surface, which promotes the growth of plankton and thus binds CO₂.
