Before you, a hushed Namibian landscape unfolds: a characteristic tubular tree dominates the foreground, its jagged shape sharply outlined against the warm earth. In the distance, a mountain subtly outlines itself under a clear blue sky. On a second tubular tree, almost unnoticed, two birds rest, a detail that makes the emptiness even more palpable. I found the inspiration for this work in the overwhelming silence of Namibia. It is a place where space does not feel empty, but rather full of meaning. Here, nature and time dictate the rhythm, not man.
