About the artwork

A nostalgic figurative pastel drawing inspired by painter Jack Vettriano . He painted with oil paint creating strong lines and angles. Have tried to somewhat approximate his style with pastel crayon but pastel crayon is a completely different medium. It gives a softer look but that also makes it a nostalgic painting. It's a bit mysterious. What is she thinking about under that parasol? Her butler is protecting her from the sun under the yellow parasol. It's a bit of a sad painting because you don't know who is standing there under that parasol lost in thought. Here, the drawing has been edited with Photoshop and converted to purple-blue colours that gives a very different impression. It is a woman with her butler in the early evening , it makes it even more mysterious. What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
