About ‘Long evening shadow’ by Marcel Hechler

One evening in late May, I was out walking near Lake Aalkistensee near Maulbronn. The sun was already low in the sky, and the light was becoming soft and warm — the moment when I most enjoy launching my drone.

From above, the landscape opened up into the distance: a long row of trees and shrubs stretches from the foreground to a dark strip of woodland on the horizon. It divides two fields — on the left, the cooler green, already in shadow; on the right, the lighter green, bathed in the evening sun. Across it, the long shadows of the trees stretch like a fan over the light-coloured field. Narrow tracks guide the eye into the distance.

What kept me there that evening was precisely this light: that peaceful, golden moment just before dusk sets in, when everything falls silent for a moment.

The picture brings this warm evening tranquillity to your wall. It suits rooms that are meant to radiate a sense of cosiness — a living room, a bedroom, a reading nook. A slice of the end of the day to hang on your wall.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
