This is inside Lisbon's oldest cathedral in the Alfama district.
Called Sé de Lisboa by the Portuguese people.
I took this picture from the upstairs balcony, from where you can also get to the outside balcony, where you have a great view of the whole city.
The depth this photo shows makes it a slightly different picture of a church than a standard photo. You are almost drawn into the picture by the running lines.
The cathedral has been damaged several times by violent earthquakes but has been renovated time and again.
Partly because of those damages, you can find different architectural styles.
Attached to the cathedral is also a 16-century monastery
It's definitely worth a visit if you're in Lisbon.
My great passion is portrait photography, especially children and the elderly,
but especially in Fine Art photography, I can lose myself completely.
