This work shows an abstract close-up of a translucent, light-coloured fabric with fine folds and a soft texture. The soft lighting and reduced depth of field give the image an ethereal, almost floating effect. The inspiration for this image was the quiet elegance of light on light material - a moment in which materiality and atmosphere merge into a visual composition.
The creative process focussed on staging the natural movement of the fabric. The transparency was emphasised through targeted lighting and the choice of perspective, while the fine structures subtly emerge. The visual language is abstract, reduced and open to interpretation - it invites contemplative contemplation and leaves room for individual associations.
The work is particularly suitable for modern, minimalist or Scandinavian-inspired furnishing styles. It is also effective in light-flooded rooms or as a calm accent in clearly structured interiors. Stylistically, it can be categorised as abstract photography with a textile and light-related focus, with echoes of material art and light studies.
Its speciality lies in the combination of transparency, structure and light effect - it looks like a captured moment of stillness that enriches rooms with visual lightness, depth and subtle elegance.
