About "Lady Under The Parasol"

About the artwork

Summer scene á la Klimt

In "Lady Under The Parasol" you see a beautiful graceful lady, dressed in a robe decorated with geometric forms such as organic and wavy shapes resembling swirls and twists in nature.

I was inspired by Gustav Klimt who is known for his unique use of decorative patterns. These patterns are often complex, detailed and sophisticated, and they play a crucial role in his artistic style.

The style associated with Gustav Klimt can be considered a combination of symbolism and art nouveau (also known as art nouveau).

The lady in the work is holding a beautiful solar parasol, decorated with gold accents that reflect in the sunlight. The parasol seems to protect her from the rain flowers around her.

Flowers in abundance adorn the surroundings, their colours ranging from deep, rich hues to soft pastels, and the left background is drenched in gold patterns. The gold pattern creates a harmonious connection between the earthy splendour of the flowers and the transcendence of the lady and her parasol.
