In the summer of 2018, we went on a wonderful tour visiting the cities of Dresden, Prague, Budapest and Vienna. Of course, there was too little time to really get to know the cities, so my drawings most likely show the necessary clichés. Like Sissi (1837-1898) and her baroque summer palace 'Schloss Schönbrunn' with its beautiful gardens. Or the symbolist painter Gustav Klimt (1862-1918), who was born and died in Vienna. And what about Mozart (1756-1791) whose music still lives on in this capital of classical music.
Last but not least there is the white Alpine flower 'Edelweiss' about which 'Georg von Trapp' could playback so beautifully in The Sound of Music.
