About "Japanese fan maple Murasaki Kiyohime"

About the artwork

The picture shows a close-up of several leaves of a Japanese fan maple, presumably of the Murasaki Kiyohime variety. The star-shaped leaves with their pointed ends show a lively interplay of green and red tones - an indication of the colour change that begins in autumn. The background is deliberately blurred, allowing the texture and colour of the leaves in the foreground to come into their own.

The idea for this work arose from a fascination with transitions in nature - especially the subtle, often overlooked nuances that occur during seasonal changes. I was interested in how colour and form can be condensed into an independent composition in a seemingly everyday motif.

The atmosphere I want to create with this picture is calm and attentive. It is about conscious seeing - about the invitation to engage with details that only reveal themselves on closer inspection. The message is restrained but clear: change is a natural part of beauty.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
