I wish I was Two Little Dogs
Based on the poem by Godfried Bomans, published in 1947.
"I often sit in front of the window glass
bored out of my mind,
and think: if I were two little dogs
I would play together;
Almost unrecognisably, the light blue doggie on the right of the apartment building sits looking at his yellow twin, who is happily running and playing outside, waiting for his light blue self. Would he manage to run to himself and have fun?
I love colour and chaos and raw, nothing has to follow the beaten path. The association that the colours combined with the material used and the technique conjure up and keep you focused is enough to put your imagination to work. Do you see the tree, the flower, the little man? The little bridge, the house, the road? The dog and the cat? Let your imagination run wild and discover!
