About ‘How do you eat a Tompouce?’ by Riëtte Ballast

Do you always wonder how to eat a Tom Pouce? These little dolls might help you. Funny picture of miniature figurines (H0) working to clean up an archetypal Dutch Tompouce pastry. A man helps scoop off the whipped cream, the neighbour mows off the pink icing, the puff pastry and yellow pastry cream are taken off with a hedge trimmer and all the crumbs are neatly swept up by a neighbour with a leaf rake.
A combination of miniature models and everyday objects, which together make for a humorous situation. Here, I start by first looking closely at the figures and what they are doing. I then apply this action to an item that does not normally belong here. So instead of working in the garden, these people are working away at a piece of banquet. The purpose of the picture is to put a smile on the viewer's face.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
