Along the coast of Møre og Romsdal, two striking mountain peaks rise from the fjord landscape: Blåstolen and Trollstolen. Together they form an impressive silhouette, visible from long distances. Blåstolen, left in the picture, is known for its ever-dark wall - snow rarely stays on it. Trollstolen, right, bears its name thanks to its characteristic vertical stripes reminiscent of the back of a giant chair. Sailors used to use these mountains as landmarks when navigating between fjords.
In this picture, they seem to float on a sea of clouds, caught between the deep fjord and the vast sky. The sun casts its last light over the peaks, while the silence becomes almost palpable. A moment of peace captured in the rugged heart of Norway.
