I took this photo during one of my hikes taken from the yurt near Son Kul Lake.
And what a beautiful setting to walk in this is.
You could really walk for hours there without encountering anything or anyone, and every now and then you would also see several herds of grazing animals, like sheep here in the photo.
Usually there was nobody to be seen near the herds, but I also regularly saw horsemen and dogs bringing the herds back together when they were too scattered.
It also struck me that they use some kind of sheepdogs for this, and not Bordercollies like ours.
