I took this photo from a watchtower on the Elspeeter moors. You would think I took this photo with a drone, so I was just standing on a watchtower with my Nikon D7200. Elspeeterheide light near the village of Elspeet in the municipality of Nunspeet on the Veluwe. If you look closely, the heather is already blooming purple when I took this picture, it was just a pity it was cloudy when I took it. The path you see in the photo is used by the groundsman, as well as a couple of hiking trails. The trees on the heath are Scots pines. At the bottom right of the photo you can see a few birches. Meanwhile, the watchtower from which I took this photo has been closed to the public for safety reasons
