In September, I decided to get up very early (a 6am), to photograph the sunrise at the Posbank (Veluwe). In semptember, this place is just a bit more beautiful than the rest of the year. Because then the heather is in flower. The entire heather surface is covered with tiny purple flowers, as far as the eye can see.
While taking the photo, I immediately noticed the so-called sunflare. This is considered a flaw in photography. However, in this photo I think it adds an extra dimension and colour. It makes the heather in the foreground stand out, especially the lilac colour. Combined with the sun in the top left corner, this photo could have been taken on holiday in France.
