About the artwork

Heather in bloom is one of the most beautiful natural phenomena in the Netherlands. This work on the wall shows a vast purple carpet, framed by a lone tree full of berries and a threatening cloudy sky in the background. The contrast between the soft, colourful heather and the dark sky gives this image a powerful and almost picturesque look.

For me, photographing the heathland is a moment of stillness and wonder. The landscape changes every moment: the light plays over the purple fields, birds flit by and the cloudy skies provide ever-changing hues. This photo captures that sense of dynamism and calm at the same time - as if you were walking down the sandy path along the heath yourself.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
