The Gurudwara is one of the largest Sikh temples in India. Every day thousands of people come here to wash themselves in the holy water of the Sarovar, to receive a meal and to pray. The temple offers meals to 40,000 people a day! Despite all the hustle and bustle, the temple is a resting place in the city. The reflection of the water, the praying Sikhs, and the white sheen of the temple let you breathe. By focusing on the water in this picture, the temple and the visitors become less sharp. If you look at the picture now, you are guided to the light on the surface of the water and you can experience a bit of the inner calm I felt when I was there.
