New Delhi has thousands of flower stalls. The flowers are used for decoration, but for a large part also for ritual purposes. During the day they already look very colourful, but especially when it is dark, the colourful colours of the flowers are striking. I photographed a series of flower stalls at night. Even though from a distance they look the same, the arrangement and colour combination of the flowers reflect the creativity and uniqueness of the sellers. For me this is what Delhi stands for. From a distance it seems like a great jumble of people and colors, if you take time to look further, the beauty and uniqueness of the inhabitants will emerge.
