I took this photo on the Beekhuizerzand near Harderwijk on the Veluwe, it is really a picture you can find on the Veluwe. As you can see from the snow on the dune it was winter when I took this picture, you can also see that I was standing at the bottom of the dune. The snow that was there was actually just right for this photo and then also with the nice weather. It was nice winter weather when I was at this sand drift even though there were some clouds. The white snow reflects the sunlight against the underside of the Scots pine so that shadow was lifted a bit. In terms of post-processing, I didn't do that much to this photo, it was already a good photo in the base. The tree in the photo is a Scots Pine that you see more often on the Veluwe, the beauty of these pines is the whimsical shapes and that you can sometimes see the roots.
