At 3798 metres, the Großglockner is Austria's highest mountain. This 'King of the Alps' is located in the Hohe Tauern National Park on the border of Tyrol and Carinthia. The Großglockner is also the source of the Pasterzen glacier, which is Austria's largest glacier with a length of 9 km.
