Demolition or renewal? Inspired by current times where chaos plays a major role.
The creation was made with coloured wax ( Encaustic) on a hotplate using a hetelucth hairdryer and pallet knives, among other tools.
The artist mainly lets the creations come into being, the energy that is felt is the flow in which and with which she works.
All creations are unique because of the choice to let happen what wants to happen. As a result, she can never make the same creation again.
At first glance, one sees an abstract form, but by zooming in, more and more details will become visible. This makes the painting never boring. And that every viewer will see something different.
Encaustic is an old technique that was used in the past for grave portraits, among other things. Nowadays, much more is possible in terms of colour and use of tools, but the power of the medium is still clear and the mysticism palpable.
