She looked at me, the cat. She stayed snoring delightfully in her favourite spot: the warm stones. It was her regular spot, every morning, and I could understand why. From here she had the perfect view over Mogán harbour, with its quaint houses painted blue and white, a beautiful contrast to the brightly coloured Bougainville with its purple and rose-red hues.
It was 08:00, the sky was already gently warmed by the first rays of sunlight. The village slowly awoke, the soft sounds of the morning filling the air. In the distance, I could hear the calm sound of waves as the first fishing boats returned from their night journey.
A little further on, a group gathered for their daily yoga class. The instructor's calm movements added a sense of serenity to the morning. People began rolling out their mats, their bodies still tired from the night, but the yoga class brought new energy.
The cat watched the scene, her eyes full of calm and wisdom. Everything was perfect in this little paradise, where time seemed to slow down and the world briefly detached itself from the frenzy of the outside world. And as I sat there in silence, I realised that, like the kitty, I was exactly where I needed to be at this moment.
I dive, bend, crawl and jump to capture the perfect moment.
