In Estepona harbour, we are walking past the moored boats when a fisherman calls out to us. His face is scarred by years at sea, and with a broad grin he gestures for us to come closer. Proudly he holds up his catch from that morning: a huge lobster. The claws are still moving slowly, as if the animal does not want to give in completely.
With a laugh, the fisherman jokes, but I barely pay attention to the words-my eyes are on the lobster. A step back, as a precaution. Still, I quickly grab my camera and take a picture. The fisherman laughs, I laugh with him. A spontaneous moment, captured in the lively harbour.
I dive, bend, crawl and jump to capture the perfect moment.
For more than 20 years, I have been out and about with my camera.
I travel and walk through nature, searching for light, shadows and the lines that make everything just that little bit different.
