The road snaked through the hills, past endless vineyards on the mountains. Cycling in the late sunlight, past half-timbered houses and flowers, it felt like we had cycled into an Anton Pieck painting.
In a small village, we entered a charming hotel with thick stone walls, cool and soothing. In the evening, the air filled with the smell of freshly baked tarte flambée and spicy riesling. On a terrace under grape vines, toasting glasses and soft conversations resounded.
Alsace tasted of wine, of old stories, of the good life. And here, among the hills, we wanted to stay.
I dive, bend, crawl and jump to capture the perfect moment.
