Beautiful fine-art oil painting featuring the sweet snout of puppy Evie, playing with her favourite chew rope. Evie is a Golden Retriever. In the painting, she is 12 weeks old. Her warm look radiates innocence, love and confidence. Any dog lover will recognise the look of a dog looking lovingly at its owner. The background with the colourful carpet and the meticulously worked out chewing rope make the painting atmospheric and pleasant to keep looking at. All the colours in the coat are separately mixed with another colour. As a result, the painting has lots of colour nuances and never gets boring. Because of the large amount of colours in the coat, it looks beautiful in any interior and brings balance. The painting is made with the oil paint technique also used by the old masters. First, an underpainting was created on the canvas in the colours raw umber and titanium white. After this, I painted over the underpainting with transparent oil colours, in several layers. Accents are then applied with an opaque oil paint. By painting several layers on top of each other, the colours shine through each other and create depth in the painting.
