About ‘"Gold-plated petals"’ by Art by Ilona

This artwork features delicate golden flowers that stand out elegantly against a deep blue sponged background. The flowers have been painted with great precision and attention to detail, bringing every vein and petal to life. The mood is serene and sophisticated: the gold radiates warmth and luxury, while the blue brings tranquillity and depth. This work grew out of my fascination with geometry and ornament, combined with an intuitive search for balance between structure and expression. I worked with a combination of gold acrylic paint and hand-painted ornaments, so the surface catches subtle light and looks different each time depending on the time of day.
The special technique lies in the layering: first I build up a rigid, geometric base, then I add organic details by hand. This creates a unique interplay between order and spontaneity. The result is a work of art that is not only an eye-catcher, but also adds a sense of elegance and harmony to any interior. The combination of classic ornamentation and modern colour contrasts allows this piece to fit into both sleek and warm, personal interiors. What makes this piece truly unique is the rare blend of technical precision and personal expression - it is a piece that continues to intrigue and inspire.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
