About ‘Veil of serenity’ by Art by Ilona

"Veil of serenity " exudes an atmosphere of tranquillity and refinement. The work invites stillness, thanks to the soft blue tones and the subtle play of white that seems to float over the canvas like a light mist. At the centre are graceful ivy leaves that emerge, almost floating, from the layered background. The leaves are painted with a loose, intuitive hand, giving them an organic movement and giving the whole a natural dynamism.
What is special about this work is the combination of rigid geometry and free ornamentation. The background is composed of several layers of acrylic paint, using both brush and palette knife. Applying textured paste and alternating transparent and opaque paint creates a tangible depth. Every detail is applied with attention, but small imperfections and manual marks remain visible - this is precisely what gives the work character and humanity.
"Veil of serenity" was born from a fascination with the balance between order and playfulness. The idea grew while experimenting with patterns and natural forms, with the ivy symbolising growth and connection. What makes this piece unique is the way technical precision and expressive freedom come together. The result is an artwork that not only captivates visually, but also evokes a sense of harmony and timelessness.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
