The artwork shows an architectural detail of the glass façade of the Futurium in Berlin. The black and white photograph emphasises the geometric structure of the façade, which consists of a combination of triangular and rectangular glass elements. Reflections and shadows create a multi-layered pattern, which is further structured by the visible ceiling lights in the upper area.
The inspiration for this work was an exploration of the question of how the future is translated into architecture. With its clear, technical design, the Futurium as a place for discourse on the future offers an ideal basis for visual reflection on order, change and perception. I was particularly interested in the tension between technical precision and aesthetic openness.
With this picture I want to create a calm, almost meditative atmosphere. It invites you to explore structure and perspective - without the distraction of colour, but with depth through form and light.
In interior design, this work acts as a modern, graphic accent. It is particularly suitable for minimalist or architectural room concepts and brings a clear, structuring effect to living or working areas. The black and white aesthetic makes it versatile to combine and timeless to use.
