Girl’s Swimming Cap with a Fish in Mixed Media Style by Yvonne Zeldenthuis

An eclectic mixed-media portrait of a woman in soft shades of grey, accentuated by a vintage green swimming cap. The background features a weathered rust pattern in shades of dusky pink and green-grey, with subtle polka dots echoing Pop Art. A large white fish, rendered in clean line art, floats in the foreground as a symbol of nature, memory and underwater conservation.

A feminine monochrome portrait in an eclectic mixed-media style featuring a vintage green swimming cap.
The weathered, rusty surface is reminiscent of a batik pattern in **dusty pink and light green-grey tones.
The polka dots are a playful nod to the Pop Art tradition of the last century.
The fish in street art style – a clean line drawing or a stamp impression – is a symbol of nature conservation.
The result is a work of art in which **nostalgia, texture, symbolism and modern digital expression** come together to form an intriguing, layered composition.
