About the artwork

Vintage beauty, her blonde braids carefully braided like an echo of days gone by. Her head is crowned by a Large Zeeland hat, so monumental that it seems to merge with the shape of an antique Dutch plate. The plate bears the marks of time, but every break has been repaired with kintsugi gold: the cracks are not scars, but sparkling lines that elevate the past into art.
On either side of her head, two hat-pins sparkle, coiled into large spheres of shiny gold thread. A symbol of tradition and pride.
The red 1-cent stamp, a reminder of the days when letters were sent by post
The background of the artwork glows in turquoise in contrast to the red stamp, a dialogue between warmth and calm, between past and present.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
