A colourful and abstract artwork with radial lines on a black background.
The abstract colour pattern may seem a bit chaotic but if you look closely, you will see that the colours are repeated and the pattern continues. The stripes at the four triangles run from wide to narrow.
This digitally crafted artwork was created from three photographs. Photos I took of an ordinary utensil. An object we probably all have in our homes. Using different colours of light, I took three photos of the same object but in three different shades. You can see purple with orange, blue with green and yellow with red.
I neatly arranged the chaotic and abstract colour pattern of these three photos in this artwork by using radial lines. The lines all disappear to a fixed point in this colourful and dynamic artwork suggesting that you are in a tunnel of brightly coloured light! The pattern of radial lines also has a geometric and graphic feel.
The dark background makes the bright saturated colours in this abstract artwork shine even more.
Here, your imagination is put to work and your senses are stimulated!
I see making art as a creative process.
The starting point of this process for me is always a photo or a painting of my own. Every work of art on this site is therefore based on a self-made photo or painting.
I find my sources of inspiration in everything around me...
