About "Gable of the coach house and presbytery of the Severinus church in Hapert (Nood-Brabant)"

About the artwork

No Mass has been celebrated at St. Severinus Church since June 2020.

The church -together with the adjacent rectory and former coach house- will become part of a multifunctional accommodation (MFA). This is where all possible forms of recreation, culture, education, care, integration and sport, should come together.

Cultural-historical values should - rightly - be respected, so a balance was sought between 'old' and 'new'. For example, the historical components (such as the façades and the stepped structure) of the former coach house, rectory and church each have their own specific function and significance. In short: the whole must not fall apart.

And that means that only certain parts of the church and carriage house may be demolished. That took quite a bit of thinking, doesn't it seem to me?

Now -March 2021- I get a somewhat sad feeling at the sight of that lonely facade of the coach house (see drawing). It does provide a nice picture. But the background -and with it the underlying story-, is gone forever.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
