This photo of a pile of rice bags is part of the triptych Food for Thought selected from my reportage on the Buddhist retreat I attended in Plum Village, France (2016) by famed Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh and my travelogue on Vietnam (1999) for Living magazine.
I took this photo on colour slide (Velvia 25) at a centre distributing food in Vietnam during my visit to a microcredit women's project for the SNV, a Dutch NGO. The original slide is available for post-production.
