About the artwork

Puerto de la Mora is a mycological reserve near Granada, whose aim is the conservation and development of wild species, with educational, cultural, scientific and recreational use and character. By means of described walks along a pleasant route among different types of vegetation, such as black pine forests, cedar plantations and a mixture of different conifers such as sequoias's and cypresses, this route aims to show part of the mycological richness of the area, complementing public use with knowledge of the natural heritage and great biodiversity of this protected area.
Some of the species of mushrooms that can be observed during the tour, weather permitting, include: Ceps (Leccinum lepidum), the large parasol mushroom (Macrolepiota procera), purple shamrock (Lepista nuda), the common oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) and the chanterelle (Lactarius deliciosus). Being within a mycological reserve here, collecting mushrooms for consumption is not allowed. However, they are sought for study or photography on location, but they should be left untouched in the same place they are, so that they can be observed by other visitors.
A beautiful high altitude area with distinct flora due to the high humidity, well worth a visit.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
