The Spitfire, RM927 (construction number 6S/381758), is a photo reconnaissance aircraft and also equipped with a Griffon engine. In World War II, this aircraft with code 'G9-X' flew with the No. 430 (Canadian) Sq. RAF, in Eindhoven. After the end of the war, it was sold to the Belgian Air Force and flew as SG-25 with code '3R-D' until November 1947.
The General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon, registration FA-57, is decorated with the special livery to mark the 105th anniversary of the Belgian Air Force's 1st Squadron. This picture was taken on 11 May 2023 during a spotter's day at Florennes Air Base.
