About "Flower sister"

About the artwork

The portrait-style painting shows an attractive young woman whose head is covered by a black cape. It extends over her shoulders and is closed at the front. Under the black cloak is a white, pleated hood that fits snugly over her head and covers all of her hair. The hood is tightly closed under her delicate, feminine chin. There is something Madonna-like about the woman's expression. Her eyes look dreamy, her lips are relaxed and lie loosely together. A thick wreath of colourful meadow flowers lies on her narrow head and forms a beautiful contrast to her black cloak. The splendour of the many carnations, geraniums and cornflowers captivates the eye. It is almost as if one could sense the scent of the flowers. In the lower part of the picture, more flowers are arranged at the height of the woman's chest.

While the background appears rather diffuse and blurred, the actual motif comes to the fore thanks to the strong colours.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
